East End
The East End covers the easternmost stretch of Alameda’s main island. It’s largely tucked-away and residential, with housing that spans Victorian-era homes through Craftsman bungalows and ranch-style houses built in the early-to-mid 20th century.
Residents describe it as tight-knit - a quieter alternative to the busier commercial corridors elsewhere on the island - with Washington Park and Lincoln Park serving as the neighborhood’s main green space, plus access to neighborhood schools and the Estuary shoreline.
It’s a fit for buyers who want a settled, low-key residential setting without giving up proximity to the rest of Alameda’s amenities.
